We transform your desire to act into real roots in Kenya. You can adopt a tree and follow its growth online, make a one-time donation to a reforestation project, gift a tree to a friend, or activate a monthly subscription that supports not only trees but also training for teachers, schools, and local communities. Every euro is tracked and transferred directly for reforesting Nyeri region in Kenya.

Choose how you want to put down roots: adopt, donate, gift, or subscribe. Follow the advises on any donation page, select your amount (free choice or suggested), and complete the secure payment via credit card or PayPal. You will immediately receive a fiscal receipt via email. If you adopt or subscribe, you will get periodic updates with photos and reports of your tree's growth and our progresses on our projects.

We are no different from many other associations that care deeply about the climate and the natural world, and that pour all their energy into fighting for it as effectively as possible. The point is not what makes us different, the point is exactly the opposite. We believe that the more organisations work to counter the dramatic effects of resource exploitation, the better.
We are not a big, distant NGO. We are a direct bridge between your will to change and our local work in Kenya. No magic. No false promises. No hidden cuts for advertising or fancy offices. Your donation will follow your instructions, according to the option you choose.
We are a registered non‑profit organisation with no profit distribution, total transparency, and one simple belief: your choice becoming a root is already enough.

Together4trees, as all the other organizations we cooperate with, is based in Africa (Nyeri - Kenya) and they are not eligible to submit to European calls. Institutional calls are most likely allowed for established in EU Member States or countries associated programs. Funds are shared upon strictly documented expenses like seedlings, labor, and school programs (https://www.global-health-edctp3.europa.eu/document/download/a711d11c-8598-4515-8c22-941e1fdc84bc_en?filename=Q%26A%20Work%20Programme%202026.pdf#2#1).

A one-time general donation or subscription have no fixed price: you decide the amount, from €1 upward. All funds (minus an optional platform fee) go directly to planting and caring for trees, training teachers, and supporting schools in Kenya. We retain zero margins. Every year, we publish a full financial report on this site (Transparency).

It feels like an honest choice. You don’t need to be a hero. You make your gesture online, we make sure it grows into real roots. You will receive updates on your tree or project, no spam, no pressure. Our team is small (less than 10 persons so far) but every email is answered personally. You join a community that stopped feeling powerless and started putting roots in the ground, one tree at a time.

First, we do not believe that caring for Europe and caring for Africa are in competition. The climate does not recognize borders. A tree in Kenya absorbs CO2 just like a tree in Spain does. Deforestation in the tropics affects rainfall patterns and temperatures across the entire Northern hemisphere, including Europe. Helping there is helping here.
Second, we recognise an uncomfortable truth. The wealth of the Global North was built in large part on the exploitation of African resources, land, and people, in the past and through the economic systems that still shape global inequality today. Africa has contributed the least to climate change, yet it suffers some of its most devastating consequences: drought, crop failure, displacement. We see redirecting resources from the North to the South not as charity, but as a small act of restitution and solidarity.
Third, we are not asking you to choose. You can support a local European initiative and an African one. The average European household throws away hundreds of euros worth of food every year. The question is rarely whether you have enough. It is simply what you decide to do with what you already have.
We believe that putting roots in Kenyan soil is not an act against Europe. It is an act for a shared planet.
